Alcohol-containing sanitizer: chief in hygiene

WHO recognized regular hand sanitation as the most effective way to prevent transmission of the disease — with soap and water or an alcohol-containing sanitizer.

At the same time, unlike soap, a sanitizer is always at hand and does not require access to clean water and disposable towels (it is not recommended to use reusable towels during a pandemic). Often the sanitizer remains the only way to provide personal hygiene in transport, in a public place or in nature.

It has already been proven that only alcohol-based sanitisers are sufficiently effective to protect against dangerous viruses and pathogenic bacteria. This is the most modern tool for the quick destruction of any potentially dangerous microorganisms.

Isopropyl alcohol is able to wipe out 99.9 or more percent of all non-spore-forming bacteria in less than 30 seconds, both in laboratory conditions and on human skin.

The modern alcohol-containing sanitizers are not only the most effective, but also harmless to the skin: the presence of moisturizing and caring components in the composition allows you to level the negative effect on the protective functions of the skin. You can use it as often as necessary, without fear of breaking the skin’s protective barrier.

Another obvious advantage of the fast and wide spectrum of action of an alcohol sanitiser is the minimal risk of resistance from microorganisms to its active component, to isopropyl alcohol.

Important. To effectively combat microbes, the alcohol concentration in hand care products should be at least 70%. Be careful, unscrupulous manufacturers often do not indicate the percentage on the label, since it is significantly underestimated.

How to carry out hand sanitation correctly:
— Use at least 3 ml of the product.
— Thoroughly wipe your palms and the back of your hands, between your fingers and under your nails.
— Treat your hands with an antiseptic for at least 20-30 seconds.

Please take care of your health, the health of your loved ones and those around you. Follow WHO recommendations and use for remediation only products with proven effectiveness and quality composition.

Covid-19: pull yourself together

The most reliable way to prevent the transmission of dangerous diseases, including Covid-19, is to maintain hygiene.

WHO has published basic precautions on its official website to protect the public from new coronavirus infection.

— Keep your distance in public places. Stay at least 1 meter away from people, especially if they have a cough, runny nose, or fever.
— Refrain from shaking hands.
— When coughing and sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or bend of your elbow. So you prevent the spread of the virus to others and at the same time do not let the microbes fall into your hands.
— Immediately throw the napkins into the garbage container and treat your hands with an alcohol-containing antiseptic or wash them with soap and water.
— Do not touch the face (do not rub your eyes, do not touch your nose and mouth), do not touch your hair.
— If possible, buy products in individual packaging.
— You are more protected from COVID-19 when you do not use rubber gloves, but simply handle your hands quite often. The causative agent of coronavirus infection COVID-19 may contaminate rubber gloves. Touching the face after this will transfer the virus from the surface of the gloves to the face and expose yourself to the risk of infection.
— Regularly wash your hands with an alcohol-based product or wash them with soap.
